Dr Craig said the birth rates differed significantly between races. Nationally, Maori were nearly five times more likely to have teenage births than Europeans, while Pacific Islanders were three times as likely.
None of this augers well at all. But Aunty Tariana will be pleased.

Until there is a link between the responsibility for caring for your offspring and the right to actually bear young that factor of difference will continue to increase.
As the burden on responsible families increases to cover the increasing costs of beneficiary families the former will continue to have less children while the latter will continue to have more.
